It’s that time of the year again. Kawasaki has released the specifications of the new Ninja H2R and H2 sport bikes and they did NOT disappoint.

You can see the 2018 Ninja H2R featured above on the right, with the Ninja H2 Carbon on the left.
One of the obvious features that the H2 and H2R is know for is the supercharger designed by Kawasaki in-house for these bikes. The superchargers is incredibly efficient at compressing air and minimizing heat, which will maximize the performance of the engine. The conditions in which this supercharger will be operated is not found in a typical supercharger.
Next is the advanced technologies that is integrated into these bikes. Features such as traction control and launch control mode puts the rider at ease and optimized the bike for street conditions. KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System) and Kawasaki Engine Brake Control allows for complete optimization and control when it comes to the riders braking needs.
Let’s look at what many people are probably most interested in and come to expect out of the H2 line, it’s performance. The MotoGP-Style Dog-Ring transmission allows for effortless, short shifts while the Brembo brakes provides equally as impressive brake performance. The KYB AOS-II fork and Ohlins TTX36 rear shock allows for the absolute smoothest ride possible in this high performance bike.

Lastly, the styling and precision of these bikes are unmatched. I have placed some images of the H2R below so that you can get a closer look.

Starting this week, operators of the Polaris Slingshot are only required to have a driver’s license in the state of Arkansas. This is a change to the previous law which required operators of the three-wheeled vehicles to have a motorcycle’s license.
This now makes over 30 states who have changed their licensing requirement. Neighboring states of Arkansas that only requires a driver’s license consists of Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Tennessee, leaving only Missouri and Mississippi requiring a motorcycle’s license.
